Since its origin as a stone masonry company, GBI has had its roots in concrete work. Today, GBI specializes in all forms of quality concrete work, which is a direct result of having concrete crews that consist of the most experienced masons and carpenters in the industry.

GBI also has a vast array of concrete equipment, including the Gomaco Slip-Form Concrete Paving Machine , which places concrete in curbs, gutters, sidewalks, driveways, valley gutters, barriers, and concrete roadways, all without the use of labor-intensive stationary concrete forms. With the ever-changing specifications of city and state requirements, GBI’s constant use of new technology and equipment, including the first slip-form machine in the Bay Area in 1965, will preserve our position as the leader in concrete construction in the Bay Area for many years to come.
